Presented by The Curve Foundation and SF LGBT Center this three-part exhibition features rare ’90s images by Curve Magazine photographers Chloe Atkins, Phyllis Christopher, and Jessica Tanzer; winning entries of the 2025 Curve Photo Contest, and art from Tanya Wischerath’s mural Living Lesbian Legends.
Plus, enjoy live music from DJ Page Hodel and sip on award-winning wines from Hall Wines. Select photographs will be available for purchase, with proceeds supporting the artists, The Curve Foundation, The SF LGBT Center, and Lesbian Visibility Week.

Join us for this virtual event co-hosted by Wanderground and the Lesbian Herstory Archives, where we’ll be sharing a rich collection of materials from Curve magazine, along with lesbian publications from New England and New York. These materials are sourced from the Lesbian Herstory Archives, the Wanderground Lesbian Archive/Library, and Curve magazine’s digital archive. It’s a unique opportunity to peek into these archives from the comfort of your own home!
The Curve Film Club will be discussing D.E.B.S., the 2004 lesbian action-comedy and cult classic directed by Angela Robinson.Watch the film ahead of time and come prepared to discuss your favorite themes, scenes, and characters!
Join The Curve Community in watching There Are Things To Do, an award-winning documentary about LGBTQ+ activist Urvashi Vaid. This is a live virtual screening.
Following the film will be a brief, pre-recorded Q&A with Vaid’s partner, the comedian/ activist/ author Kate Clinton, and a live community discussion of the film.

Funded by a generous grant from the AKR Foundation, we’ll be collecting Curve and Deneuve magazines to start an archive as part of the LGBTQ+ History Research Collections the University of Houston Libraries Special Collections!
